About
I am a psychotherapist with eight years' experience working with adolescents and adults. I did my professional clinical training in Chile and in 2024 graduated with a master's degree from University College London. I have done further short courses and trainings, primarily in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic theory and technique. This has led to the development of the skills needed for providing mental health and wellbeing support in a therapeutic setting.I place real emphasis on listening actively to the patient, so that we can both recognize what needs to be worked on and align on a direction of healing and change. Sometimes what is needed is a simple but precise taking of perspective and management of the issues at stake. Other times, suffering can be tied to our relationships with others — so in therapy we might work both on individual symptoms and on how these relate to the patient's relational life.I am based in London, where I currently work in an educational setting supporting autistic young people, and where I have co-facilitated therapeutic groups for young people at the Brent Centre for Young People, a connection I maintain to this day.
